There are many different kinds of harps.
The most familiar is the classical harp. Seen in formal and
orchestral settings, this instrument stands six feet tall and
has seven pedals.
The Celtic harp is the forerunner of the
classical harp. This more intimate instrument stands over five
feet tall and while the sound is similar to the classical harp,
the style of playing is reminiscent of the classical guitar.
